Where these numbers come from

US employers hiring on an H-1B, H-1B1 or E-3 visa must file a Labor Condition Application stating the wage they will pay. The Department of Labor publishes every determination quarterly. This site normalises those filings — annualising hourly and monthly rates, merging employer name variants — and reports the distribution.

Two caveats worth holding onto: filed wages are base salary only, so bonuses and equity are invisible here; and a filing records what an employer committed to pay, which is a floor rather than a promise of what any individual earned.
