SponsorWage publishes public data. Nothing on this site is legal, immigration, tax, financial or employment advice, and using it creates no professional relationship of any kind. Immigration decisions carry real consequences — consult a licensed attorney about your own situation.

What the data is

Wage figures come from Labor Condition Applications and PERM filings disclosed by the US Department of Labor. They are wages employers filed at application time. They are not verified payroll, not total compensation, and not a statement of what any individual earns. Bonuses and equity are excluded entirely, so real pay is frequently higher than shown.

We normalise the source data — annualising wage rates, merging employer name variants, excluding implausible values. That processing can introduce error. Figures are provided as-is, without warranty of accuracy or completeness. Check the underlying DOL file before relying on any number that matters to you. How we process the data.

Acceptable use

  • Personal and professional research, salary benchmarking, and journalism are all fine, and are the point.
  • Do not use this site to harass, target or make decisions about specific individuals.
  • Do not scrape at a volume that degrades service for others. The source data is public and free — if you want it in bulk, download it from the Department of Labor directly rather than crawling here.
  • Do not attempt to breach, disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the service.

Corrections

If an employer page merges two genuinely different companies, or a figure looks wrong, tell us. The underlying filings are public and checkable, and we would rather fix it than defend it.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SponsorWage is not liable for any loss arising from use of this site or reliance on its figures. The service is provided without warranties of any kind. If you are negotiating a salary or making an immigration decision, verify independently.

This site carries advertising and affiliate links, marked as such. Advertisers have no influence over the wage data, which comes from the government source unaltered except for the processing described in about the data.
